Santa Clara, August 30 (RHC)-- Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa says that worker’s concerns and opinions are crucial to resolve many problems at work centers.
Mesa, who is a member of the Cuban Communist Party Political Bureau and former head of the Confederation of Cuban Workers, said in Santa Clara that if it is important that managers join forces to implement the economic update, it is also crucial that the workers, headed by their unions, take all measures necessary to the process in a conscious manner.
Valdes Mesa toured several companies in the province of Villa Clara where he was interested in learning about the pace of the economic update in the territory, the supply of raw materials, the worker’s salaries and their productivity, and the performance of unions and political organizations.
