Cuba highlights the role of digital transformation in the press
Havana, Jun 27 (RHC) Le Quoc Minh, president of the Vietnam Journalists Association who is paying a visit to Cuba, on Tuesday assured that network shifts influence the media’s future.
Minh, who also serves as Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, gave a lecture at the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UNEAC), where he praised his association´s experiences in rolling out new routines associated with the Internet.
He detailed that people get most of their information from social networks, a fact that affects the media and forces them to transform digitally and seek new professional skills.
After concluding his lecture, Minh talked via videoconference and in person with executives and professionals of several media in Cuba. (Source: PL)
