Cuba confiscated vessels found in its aquatic spaces

 

Havana, Sept 2 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of the Interior reported on the confiscation of four vessels found in national aquatic spaces, which may be claimed from this Saturday.

The institution's note indicated that those affected may claim their rights in writing before the head of the Directorate of Border Guard Troops, within a term of 20 calendar days from the publication of this note in a newspaper with national circulation.

The statement details that in April 2022, north of Mayabeque, a white motorcycle-type ship was found, with a wooden hull material, a length of 16 meters, a beam of 12 meters and a depth of 5.50 meters, on board there was a 40 Hp Yamaha outboard motor.

Likewise, in October of that year, an unnamed jet ski was confiscated, with Registration No. FL8074RP, a national of the United States of America, with Florida Registration Port, Kawasaki brand, green and black, length 3 0.0 meters, beam 1.0 meter, strut 0.40 meters.

In February 2023, the same procedure was carried out on a speedboat, Boston Whaler model, without identifying data, blue color, fiberglass hull material, length 4.95 meters, beam 1.90 meters, depth 0.80 meters, with an outboard motor, Yamaha brand with three cylinders, 80 HP, serial number 1052909.

A similar vessel was also confiscated at another time, with registration number NP 013939, fiberglass hull material, gray color.

In addition, it has two Yamaha brand outboard motors, black, four-stroke 225 Hp, without serial number, both in poor condition, 8.0 meters long, 2.50 meters wide, 1.00 meters deep, and was found on December 28, 2022. (Source: PL)
