Havana, December 3 (RHC) -- The official Palestinian news agency Wafa on Sunday highlighted Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel's condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which he described as genocide.
The president's criticism came during his participation in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which is being held in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Wafa highlighted the words of the Cuban leader when he said: "I would like to remind you that, two thousand kilometers from here, in Gaza, a genocide is taking place".
"On behalf of Cuba, we categorically condemn the escalation of violence and terror unleashed against the inhabitants of that strip of land in occupied Palestine, peace is necessary to save the planet," Díaz-Canel said during his speech. (Source: Prensa Latina)
