Cuban president analyzes work priorities in Villa Clara

Havana, January 19 (RHC) -- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC-PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived Friday in the municipality of Caibarién, in the central province of Villa Clara, as part of his tours to analyze work priorities in 2024.

Accompanied by Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the CC-PCC, the president exchanged with several producers dedicated to various crops, which are examples of what can be achieved with perseverance in work.

On its social network account X, the Cuban Presidency also reported that Díaz-Canel learned how the territory manages to strengthen local productive systems with the creation of the Municipal Agroindustrial Enterprise.

The head of state visited the mini-industry of preserves and vegetables 'La Finísima', created at the request of producers in the area, who sometimes lost their crops due to high ripening.

He also went to the 'Cambaito' community, which is undergoing a transformation process, to visit the new doctor's office, the store, the pharmacy and the local elementary school.

The dignitary talked with the neighbors about the importance of popular participation in the different processes developed by the country.

Díaz-Canel also visited the mixed enterprise 'Proxcor', dedicated to the production of jams, where he checked the modern line of sorbets and cookies for the domestic market.

There he highlighted the order, discipline, cleanliness and beauty of the productive facilities of the entity, fruit of the cooperation between Cuba and Slovakia.He considered that this will be a successful business for the benefit of both parties.

The president's agenda included the "Dionisio Rivero" Grandparents' Home, where a little more than twenty elderly people are cared for all day long. 

They told the President about the attention, food, recreation and medical care they receive.In his X profile, the Cuban president pointed out that the tours through the different provinces of the country are days of much learning and strengthening convictions together with the people.

"We are going to get out of the difficult situation by working; in Cuba there is a lot of talent and will, we can prove it at every step," he said in his message.  (Source: ACN)
