Among the topics of the festival are web positioning, the creation of content for social networks, and podcasting
Havana, Feb 22 (RHC) Cuban entrepreneurs interested in carrying out projects or businesses will be able to take advantage of the second edition of El Pitch Festival, scheduled for March 2 and 3.
Katia Sánchez, founder of the digital communication agency La Penúltima Casa and the entrepreneurship podcast El Pitch, indicated that the festival provides dissimilar knowledge, including marketing and digital communication.
Through talks and panels, from the connection and in networking spaces, The Pitch Festival facilitates the meeting between entrepreneurs and professionals, the exchange of ideas and the possibility of establishing collaborations to expand business opportunities, support and inspiration.
In Sánchez’s opinion, the entrepreneurial sector in Cuba is very young and has various needs, among them, knowledge and tools that allow its development.
She commented that the lack of references in the field of communication and its disciplines, such as marketing and advertisement, made them begin to look for alternatives to bring foreign experiences that could be applied to the Cuban context. This is how the first edition of the festival emerged in 2021, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and with five “speakers” from different countries.
According to Sánchez, the meeting will feature prestigious speakers from Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, the United States, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
Among the topics on the agenda are web positioning or SEO, the creation of content for social networks, artificial intelligence, podcasting, project management and creative thinking. (Source: PL)
