Havana, March 1 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated Friday the call to participate in the world day of support for the Palestinian people to be held tomorrow and again demanded an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Through a video shared on his X account, the president stressed that the Caribbean nation will never be indifferent to the crime and this Saturday Cubans will march for peace, together with the people who fight for a better world.

Enough brutality, enough abuse, enough impunity," the Cuban leader stressed.

Díaz-Canel denounced that five months ago humanity witnessed in horror a new holocaust because the Gaza Strip, the largest open-air prison in the world, is turning into an extermination camp under the criminal and incessant bombardment ordered by Israel.

"Silence the guns and let the people speak, stop the killings of innocent civilians, nothing can justify the grave violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza and the West Bank, the dignitary insisted.

He also called for an end to the hypocrisy of the United States, which vetoes cease-fire resolutions in the United Nations Security Council, while its government acts as an accomplice to barbarism with its unscrupulous and undemocratic exercise of the veto.

He assured that Washington undermines peace and stability in the Middle East and by extension in the whole world.

Cuban youth and social organizations called for this Saturday a massive march in solidarity with the Levantine nation and the stage in this capital will be the José Martí Anti-imperialist Tribune, located in front of the US embassy, a government that has vetoed the ceasefire and the possibility of putting an end to this holocaust.Representatives of the Union of Young Communists, the Federation of Cuban Women and the Federation of High School Students recalled that for months the world has been witnessing a great massacre against the Palestinian people.  (Source: Prensa Latina).
