Havana, April 28 (RHC)-- Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today congratulated the Commander of the Revolution and Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdés on the occasion of his 92nd birthday.
On social network X, Marrero wrote: "Receive an embrace with great affection on behalf of our people and Government," he wrote on the platform.
Valdés was born on April 28, 1932 in the city of Artemisa, west of Havana, and from a very young age he was linked to the revolutionary movement.
After the triumph of January 1, 1959, he assumed the positions of Minister of the Interior on two occasions, head of Information Technology and Communications; as well as, vice president of the Council of State and member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Since 2019, he has served as deputy prime minister of the Republic. (Source: Prensa Latina)
