Costa Rican party demands exclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsors of terrorism
Havana, June 1 (RHC) The Popular Vanguard Party of Costa Rica demanded that Cuba be excluded from the US list as a “sponsor of terrorism” country, through a letter addressed to Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel.
According to the organization, excluding Cuba from the list of countries that do not fully cooperate with anti-terrorism efforts, is not enough nor does it have the necessary coverage to generate an environment of justice in the international context.
The decision promoted by Donald Trump in 2021, unfortunately, is still in force, and the North American nation insists on keeping Cuba on the list of countries sponsors of terrorism.
In this sense, the Costa Rican party reaffirmed its solidarity with the people of Cuba, its Party and social organizations. (Source: PL)
