Cuban Minister of Higher Education begins visit to the Dominican Republic
Havana, June 3 (RHC) The Minister of Higher Education of Cuba, Walter Baluja, began a visit to the Dominican Republic this Sunday with the purpose of strengthening educational and scientific relations between the two countries.
Baluja, who was received by the Dominican head of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Franklin García, will participate in meetings and activities aimed at promoting bilateral collaboration.
Among the main topics to be discussed are the exchange of good practices in teacher training, the implementation of innovative technologies in education and the development of joint scientific research projects.
According to the Dominican Ministry, the visit underlines the commitment of the two Caribbean countries to work together to improve the quality of education and promote technological development in the region.
