Havana, October 7 (RHC-PL) -- With a presentation by the president of the World Veterinary Association (WVA), Faouzi Kechrid, began today in Havana the second working day of the 24th Pan American Congress of Veterinary Science, PANVET 2014.
As part of the panel 'One Health', the vice president of the WVA, Johnson Chiang; and the vice president of the Pan American Association of Veterinary Nelly Cajiao, also made presentations.
Rafael Perez, director of the Cuban Center for State Drug Control, Equipment and Medical Devices was in charge of closing the panel.
This second day of PANVET 2014 includes the third Anglo-Cuban Veterinary Conference and the Third Symposium of Zootechny, Animal Feed and Genetics.
The 24th Pan American Congress of Veterinary Sciences, which began yesterday in the Havana Convention Center, welcomes businesspeople, academics and experts from 26 countries in various regions of the world.
