Cuba reiterates invitation to Sri Lankan business community to Havana International Fair

Havana, June 28 (RHC) Cuban ambassador Andrés González reiterated to Duminda Hulangamuwa, president of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the invitation for the upcoming edition of the Havana International Fair.

González held a brief dialogue with Hulangamuwa regarding the 185th Annual General Assembly of the Sri Lankan organization, in which the Cuban diplomat participated along with representatives from other nations.

Last May, the ambassador of the Caribbean nation and Duminda Hulangamuwa held an exchange on commercial ties between both countries and the possibilities of extending them.

González gave Hulangamuwa a letter from the president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricarte, for the participation of his Sri Lankan counterpart in the 40th Havana International Fair that will take place from November 4 to 9. In the letter, Carricarte also expressed his desire to strengthen the ties between both chambers of commerce.

This Thursday the board of directors of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce was re-elected for the 2024-2025 term at the 185th Annual General Meeting of the organization. (Fuente: PL)
