Peruvian Doctors Against New Terrorist Attack on Cuba

Lima, Jul 10 (RHC) The Hugo Pesce Social Medical Movement today expressed its solidarity with the government and people of Cuba in the face of the new terrorist attack denounced by the island's authorities and attributed to the United States.

The organization, headed by former Health Minister Alvaro Vidal, stated that the failed operation was evidence of "new maneuvers by US imperialism, which organizes and finances terrorist attempts" against the Cuban people.

The objective of Washington's efforts, the statement added, is to destabilize the Cuban Revolution.

It recalls that in the face of these attempts, Cuba has the support of the absolute majority of the member countries of the United Nations, which every year reject the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.

The Hugo Pesce Movement is named after the scientist and social fighter who welcomed the Argentine-Cuban revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara in Peru and was his intellectual and ideological reference in Peru during his Latin American youth journey. (Source: Prensa Latina)
