On Wednesday, as Netanyahu spoke to a joint session of Congress, a mass protest took place in the streets in front of an armored Capitol.

Havana, July 26 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Thursday that the brutal repression by US police of a mass protest against the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu proves Washington's complicity in the genocide in Gaza.

On his X account, the head of Cuban diplomacy pointed out that the reception of the Israeli Prime Minister by the majority in the US Congress also shows the role of US sectors in the biggest massacre of the 21st century.

"Our solidarity with those who, day after day, tirelessly demand justice for Palestine," Rodríguez noted on the social network.

On Wednesday, as Netanyahu spoke to a joint session of Congress, a mass protest took place in the streets in front of an armored Capitol.

Hundreds of people gathered at 3rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, which was blocked by police, and set up a platform from which several speakers delivered the common message of ending the genocide in Gaza and ending Washington's support for its ally, Israel. (Source: Prensa Latina)
