Executives of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and Prensa Latina held a meeting in Havana on Tuesday, July 30th, during which they planned new joint actions, as part of the historic relationship between the two media outlets.
Havana, July 30 (RHC)-- Executives of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and Prensa Latina held a meeting in Havana on Tuesday, July 30th, during which they planned new joint actions, as part of the historic relationship between the two media outlets.
According to the Cuban agency's note, its president, Luis Enrique González, received at the headquarters the deputy director general of the VNA, Nguyen Tuan Hung, and the head of the secretariat and Foreign Affairs, Duong Duc Dung, on the occasion of which they ratified the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite them.
They discussed various joint projects to be developed in the framework of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam-Cuba relations, which will be celebrated in 2025, as well as support in issues such as technology and infrastructure.
They also discussed the Vietnam magazine, published by Prensa Latina and distributed throughout Latin America with the aim of raising awareness in the region about relevant aspects of the politics, society and culture of the Asian country.
The meeting took place as part of a visit to Cuba by the VNA delegation, which will last for several days with a broad program of activities. (Source: PL)
