Call against the blockade of Cuba is evident in the streets of Türkiye

Ankara, Aug 20 (RHC) A bicycle parade interrupted traffic in this capital to make clear Turkey's rejection of the blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States for more than six decades, diplomatic sources said.

Cuba solidarity groups organized the original way of calling attention to a claim of the Caribbean Island, which represents losses of 405 million dollars a month and which violates all the norms of international law.

The bicycle march through this city also demanded the removal of Cuba from the spurious and unilateral list of countries that supposedly support terrorism, when the Caribbean nation was, precisely, a direct victim of terrorist acts organized from the United States.

On the 9th, the summit of Mount Hasan became a site dedicated to pay tribute to the Day of National Rebellion in Cuba and to a new anniversary of Fidel Castro's birth.

In conjunction with the embassy of the Caribbean country, the Cuba-Türkiye solidarity group organized the climb to the aforementioned elevation of 3,253 meters high, a dormant volcano and the second highest mountain in Central Anatolia.

The action paid tribute to the 71st anniversary of the assault on the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in Bayamo, as well as to the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, diplomatic sources pointed out.

In addition, the occasion will serve as an opportunity to commemorate the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
