Outstanding members of the province and the country are recognized in Villa Clara

Santa Clara, August 23 (RHC) -- The congratulatory message from Army General Raúl Castro Ruz to the members of the Federation of the central province of Villa Clara arrived on Thursday afternoon, read by Teresa Amarelle Boué, General Secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).

During the meeting at the House of Orientation for Women and Families in the city of Santa Clara, provincial capital of Villa Clara, Nila Ojeda Sarduy and Deisy María Pozo Pérez, founders of the FMC in the territory and who have been worthy of important distinctions within the organization, were recognized.

The occasion was also a good opportunity to recognize the secretariats of the seven provinces that stood out in their emulation for the anniversary and to honor the Cubanas Project, sponsored by the female group Ensemble Vocal Musas and the Federation of Cuban Women of the province.

Teresa Amarelle Boué, General Secretary of the FMC, urged the women present to maintain the achievements of the Revolution and Socialism.
