Beirut, October 14 (RHC-PL), -- The president of the Lebanese parliament, Nabih Berri, Monday sent a warm greeting to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and the Head of State Raul Castro.

During a meeting with the Ambassador of Cuba to Lebanon, René Ceballo, who Berri received in his official residence in Ain Al-Tineh in Beirut, he reiterated the traditional position of his country in support of the Caribbean nation in its fair struggle against the economic blockade imposed by the United States.

The also leader of the Shiite movement Amal, requested Ceballo to pass on greetings to the president of the Cuban National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament), Esteban Lazo, and the people of the Caribbean country, while showing willingness to strengthen the links between the two legislative chambers.
