The head of Cuban diplomacy described the act as piracy and violation of International Law

Havana, Sep 3 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, described the confiscation by the United States of the Venezuelan presidential plane as illegal and a fraud.

Through the social network X, Rodríguez held the US Government responsible for that act, which he called piracy and violation of International Law, “which it does with total impunity,” he asserted.

According to the head of Cuban diplomacy, Washington undertakes these actions as justification for applying coercive measures against the Government and people of the Bolivarian nation.

According to media reports, Venezuela's presidential aircraft was confiscated by the United States in the Dominican Republic and transferred to the state of Florida, in the northern nation, alleging the application of sanctions against the South American country. (Source: Prensa Latina)
