Cuba and Vietnam celebrate binational interparliamentary session
Havana, September 24 (RHC) Legislators from Cuba and Vietnam today begin in Havana the First Binational Interparliamentary Session, as reported by the National Assembly of People's Power.
This Monday, representatives of the working commissions of these bodies analyzed the potential for bilateral cooperation in key areas for the development of both countries, and advocated expanding and strengthening it.
In a working meeting, led by Esteban Lazo, president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, and Nguyen Duc Hai, vice president of the National Assembly of Vietnam, identified areas such as economic, financial and energy. They also debated assistance in health, sports, education, culture, science, agri-food, constitutional and legal, among others.
During their stay in Cuba, Nguyen and his delegation will hold conversations with leaders of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State. They will also visit centers of economic, historical, scientific and cultural interest, and carry out other activities. (Source: Prensa Latina)
