Havana, October 1 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today denounced on his X account the incursions of the Israeli occupation army in the territory of southern Lebanon, and called for an end to the impunity of the Zionist aggression in the region.

On his profile on the social network, the head of State stressed that “while the 79th UN General Assembly is in session, the risk of barbarism becoming naturalized is advancing in the Middle East.

After a year of genocide in Gaza, now Israel is launching itself against Lebanon. Zionism is increasingly resembling Nazism. Enough of impunity, the president stressed.

Invasion of Israel

On the same platform, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, denounced today the complicity of the United States in the ground invasion initiated by the Israeli Army in southern Lebanon.

The Cuban foreign minister affirmed that such actions are carried out with the military, logistical and political support of the American Government, which - he pointed out - continues to demonstrate that it is not interested in peace in the region.

Rodriguez pointed out that the beginning of the Israeli invasion is a very dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

The Israeli army began the invasion of its troops into Lebanese territory yesterday with the support of the Air Force and Artillery, "against terrorist objectives and infrastructure" of the Hezbollah group, by decision of the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, marking a new escalation in the conflict of almost a year.   (Source: Prensa Latina)
