Havana, October 14 (RHC) --The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, led the march in solidarity with Palestine called by the Union of Young Communists.

The participants gathered at the Fragua Martiana to walk to the Anti-Imperialist Tributal where they denounced the genocide that the government of Israel has perpetrated for more than a year against the Palestinian civilian population and in other nations of the Middle East.

The demonstration denounced the complicity of the United States in the Zionist war onslaught that has caused more than 42 thousand deaths in the Gaza Strip, many of them women and children, and more than two thousand in Lebanon.

Also participating are the President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo, and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, among other leaders, along with thousands of young people and residents of the capital, on behalf of the Cuban people.  (Source: Prensa Latina).
