Tanzanian Foreign Minister begins work visit to Cuba
Havana, Nov 1 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, begins today his official visit to Cuba, which will extend until the fifth and include meetings with Cuban officials and other activities of interest.
Cuba established diplomatic relations with Tanzania in 1962, and shortly thereafter began providing assistance to that country, primarily in the fields of education and healthcare.
Tanzania, a country on the eastern coast of Africa, supports Cuba in its efforts to counter the US blockade policies that hinder its economic growth and social development. (Source: Prensa Latina)
