ITU World Youth Summit to be held in Cuba
Havana, Jan 11 (RHC) Cuba will be the host of the World Youth Summit, an event organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Ministry of Communications of Cuba.
The event will take place from March 11 to 13 in the resort of Varadero, located 140 kilometers east of Havana.
The primary objective of the summit is to provide a platform for young individuals to collaborate and develop practical ideas on how to shape the future in the digital era.
Under the banner of Empowering young people in the realm of ICT for a connected future, the event will feature discussions and panels where the participants will engage in dialogues and contribute to decision-making processes regarding ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
The World Youth Summit will be held face to face and will bring together representatives from the International Telecommunication Union, Generation Connect Youth Ambassadors, and young delegates from the United Nations and other affiliated organizations. (Sources: Cubaminrex, EmbaCubaAustria)
