Havana, January 13 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday reaffirmed his country's unrestricted support for Palestine in the face of Israel's aggression against the occupied territory.

Through his profile on the social network X, the president said that the Caribbean nation joined this Monday, as a third State, the demand of South Africa in the International Court of Justice of the UN on this matter.

He pointed out that with such action, the island reaffirms its unrestricted support for Palestine and condemns any policy that undermines its right to freedom and independence.

Likewise, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez urged the International Court of Justice of the UN to speak out against the impunity of Israel and its accomplices in the face of the aggression of the Hebrew country.

The top representative of Cuban diplomacy stated on that social network that they have massacred innocent civilians, mostly women and children, for decades.

The Cuban people will always advocate for peace and against genocidal policies, he said.

The Cuban ambassador to the Netherlands, Anet Pino, also reiterated that this appeal must be heeded and understood by the justice system as an urgent call to stop the horrible international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and Apartheid committed by the Zionist State against the Palestinian people.
