Havana, January 18 (RHC)-- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, appeared this Friday before the diplomatic corps accredited in the country to share information related to the decision of the United States Government announced last Tuesday, the 14th.

The foreign minister reiterated that it is a decision in the right direction and in line with the sustained and firm claim of the government and people of Cuba, despite its limited and late nature.

Bruno Rodriguez stressed that the economic blockade and a good part of the dozens of coercive measures that were put into effect since 2017 to reinforce it, with full extraterritorial effect and in violation of International Law and the human rights of all Cubans, are still in force.

Cuba's top diplomat thanked the broad, emphatic and repeated call for the exclusion of Cuba from the list of State sponsors of terrorism, by numerous governments, Cubans living abroad, political, religious and social organizations, and numerous political figures from the United States and other countries.
