Political parties of Cuba and Ethiopia work towards strengthening their partnership

 

Havana, Jan 31 (RHC) The vice president of the governing Prosperity Party in Ethiopia, Adem Farah, met with the representative of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez.

The meeting was dedicated to enhancing collaboration between the two political entities, as well as the enduring relationship between Addis Ababa and Havana, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporation.

Farah expressed confidence in the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two entities, which could lead to significant advancements in the fields of health, science, and technology, ultimately benefiting both nations.

In turn, Rodríguez expressed gratitude for the invitation to attend the inauguration of the Second Congress of the Prosperity Party, which is scheduled for this Friday. The party event, which will run until February 2, will feature 1,700 participants and guests from 43 neighboring countries, as well as 15 BRICS members.

The meeting also addressed other matters, including ways to enhance cooperation in areas like investment and diplomacy.

Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing inter-party ties, which they believed would strengthen the bonds between their nations and expedite their development endeavors. (Source: Prensa Latina)
