Havana, February 1 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, ratified this Friday his country's commitment to the fight for global balance, in line with the legacy of the National Hero José Martí (1853-1895).
Through a message on the social network X, the Cuban president highlighted: "From free and sovereign Cuba, which resists and creates without tiring, we reaffirm to the Martians from all over who have accompanied us in these days, that we will continue fighting for the balance of the world, as a contribution to the preservation of the species."
The publication, accompanied by the hashtags #MartíVive and #Cuba, is part of the closing ceremony of the International Conference ‘For the Balance of the World’.
Addressing the participants of the event, the head of state declared that developing nations and their peoples have the right to dream that a better world is possible, but it is necessary to move towards a different and more just international order.
