Havana, Feb 6 (RHC) The Havana Club International S.A. presented its latest creation from the Tributo collection at the Rum Museum in Havana on Wednesday.

Christian Barré, the chief executive of Havana Club, stated that this is the eighth edition of Tributo, a perfect embodiment of the expertise of rum makers, Cuban culture, and excellence in the realm of rum.

He emphasized this development as a groundbreaking innovation and stated that Tributo 2025 is a limited edition with a production of 2967 numbered bottles. The design of these bottles is inspired by the architectural features of Havana, with a special focus on the giraldilla, which is a symbol of the city.

Amed Álvarez, the head of marketing and sales for the company, stated that this product solidifies the brand as a symbol of Cuban rum, which is its country of origin. He also emphasized that this product is among the most sophisticated creations of the Cuban rum masters, a part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

This edition of Tributo was aged and finished in Redbreast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey barrels, from the Midleton distillery in Cork, Ireland. It is a collaborative effort that brought together the richness of rum and the depth of the prestigious Irish whiskey.

Tributo 2025 will be a significant milestone for HCI, as it will be featured prominently at the upcoming Habano Festival, a celebration of culture and tradition. This will be a continuation of a series that began in 2016, with a focus on the finest and oldest reserves of HC rum, which are available in 125 countries.
