
Cuban Foreign Minister arrives in Vietnam on official visit
Havana, Feb 18 (RHC) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, is scheduled to arrive in Hanoi today for a two-day official visit, during which he will engage in discussions with key Vietnamese officials.
Upon his arrival in the city, Rodríguez will pay a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
On the following day, the head of Cuban diplomacy will honor the memory of the Vietnamese independence leader, President Ho Chi Minh, by presenting a floral tribute at the mausoleum where his remains are interred.
As part of his schedule, he will also hold official talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, followed by courtesy interviews with President Luong Cuong and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam.
Additionally, Rodríguez will meet with representatives of the Cuban diplomatic corps in the Asian nation.
The Cuban foreign minister's official trip to Vietnam is part of a tour of Asian countries that previously included Malaysia and Singapore, and will conclude on the 21st in Laos. (Source: Prensa Latina)
