
The official visit to Laos is part of a tour of Asian nations
Havana, Feb 20 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, arrives in Vientiane today for a two-day official visit, during which he will meet with the highest-ranking officials of Laos.
Rodríguez and his delegation will tour today some of the most significant historical and cultural landmarks in the capital, including the museum dedicated to former president and party leader Kaysone Phomvihane and the Patuxai triumphal arch.
On the final day, his schedule includes a meeting with Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and official discussions with his counterpart, Thongsavanah Phomvihane.
The head of Cuban diplomacy arrives in Laos from Vietnam, prior to which he had paid official visits to Malaysia and Singapore, as part of a tour of Asian nations. (Source: Prensa Latina)
