Habano Festival concludes in Cuban capital

Havana, March 1 (RHC) The 25th edition of the Habano Festival came to a close this Friday, with a grand event held at the Pabexpo fairgrounds, in Havana.

This edition paid tribute to the Behike line, from Cohiba, one of the most exclusive offerings in the diverse portfolio of Habanos S.A.

Maritza Carrillo González and Luis Sánchez-Harguindey, the co-presidents of Habanos, greeted the attendees at the evening gathering and recalled that the event was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the iconic Romeo y Julieta brand.

They stated that the festival delved into the world of tobacco and introduced new products to customers.

The closing event also featured the sale of six luxury humidors, each representing a different international brand of Habanos S.A.

Furthermore, the Habanos 2024 Awards were presented, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the production, promotion, and communication of premium cigars, resulting in millions of dollars in sales worldwide.

In this edition, the Habano Festival saw the largest attendance ever, with over three thousand participants from 110 countries, including businessmen, experts, distributors, and producers. (Source: ACN)
