Díaz-Canel celebrates the impact of the Patria International Colloquium

Havana, March 20 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel celebrated the positive evolution of the Patria International Colloquium this Thursday, an event he described as a consolidated space for reflection, solidarity and new projects.¨¨

On his X account, the president considered the members of that forum a close family that grows larger every year. What began as a meeting of a few is today a consolidated space for reflection, solidarity, and new projects, he wrote.

“We are PatriaEnRed and we are determined to continue growing for the good of our people,” he expressed on that social network.

Díaz-Canel shared with a representation of the 400 communicators who attended the IV Patria International Colloquium, which he highlighted. the way in which "it is growing as a site of reflection, critical analysis, and protest."

The Cuban president also toured the Exhibition Fair organized for the event at the emblematic University of Havana.

The head of state recognized the work of communicators, journalists, political activists, and researchers who attended the forum, which became a platform for unity and participation in defense of all the world's just causes.

The participants thanked Cuba for holding the Patria Colloquium amid difficult circumstances and described the event as a space for developing strategies for the benefit of the people.

The event concluded tonight with a cultural ceremony on the steps of the University of Havana, during which the Telesur Citizen Distinction was awarded to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raúl Castro, President Díaz-Canel, and Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
