Havana, December 18 (RHC-PL) -- Visibly moved, the general secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), Teresa Amarelle, said that the return of the three antiterrorist fighters members of the Cuban Five, is to feel the revolution in all its dimensions, something that is beyond any kind of comparison in the world.
After listening to the speech by Cuban President Raul Castro, in which he announced that Antonio Guerrero, Gerardo Hernández and Ramón Labañino are already in their native country, Amarelle told Prensa Latina that she is witnessing one of the most humanitarian gestures of the Cuban Revolution.
Along with the deputies in session at the Havana Convention Center in working committees prior to the fourth regular session of the 8th Legislature of the Cuban parliament, the leader of the FMC shared with reporters her impressions of the decision benefitting the Cuban Five.
'We are excited to witness the confidence that has made millions of hearts vibrate, because the blood of social justice runs in our veins, a whole people that grows at all times and before any difficulty, and is able to respond properly' said Amarelle.
She stated that every day, there are more reasons to live, fight and defend this revolution, work for its development and everything that requires.
As a mother and wife, my thoughts are with the mothers and wives of Antonio, Gerardo and Ramón, from the hearts of all Cuban women, who from any corner of the country, demanded together with the rest of our people for their freedom, to have them back in the country, as children of this great revolution.
