Havana, January 26 (RHC-PL)-- The 14th International Congress "Pedagogía 2015" gets underway Monday in Havana with a keynote speech by Cuba's Education Minister Ena Elsa Velazquez, addressing more than 2,500 delegates from 30 countries.
According to the program, Minister Velazquez delivers the keynote speech at the capital's Karl Marx Theater, where students from different general and artistic teaching levels perform an entertaining cultural gala.
Over the next few days, Congress delegates will participate in symposiums, forums, round tables, panels and lectures during the meeting's program of events. They will also go on field trips and visit educational and cultural centers in the Cuban capital.
Among the issues that will be debated this week during the sessions is the training of values in education, teacher and professional work, scientific education and its current challenges, and quality assessment of education.
"Pedagogía 2015" ends on Friday, January 30th and is being held at Havana's International Convention Center.
