Santa Clara, March 2 (RHC) -– Some 400 private workers have joined the National Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers in the central province of Villa Clara.

The number of workers represents 64 percent of the private workers who offer apartment rentals and restaurant services, said the union's general secretary Milagros Garcia.

The unionist said that the private workers held their periodic meetings as they plan their work every month, including their contribution and donations to the pediatric oncology hospital in the province.

The hotel and tourism union in the province groups over 2,300 members who contribute to actions aimed at improving service quality and competitive products, said the unionist.
