Malabo, Mar 14, (RHC), -- Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema sent greetings to his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro, and reiterated his satisfaction with the progress made so far in the restoration of bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States.
After welcoming Havana's ambassador to Malabo, Pedro Doña, the statesman from Equatorial Guinea stressed that Cuba will always have the support and solidarity of his government and people in international forums and in its fight for the removal of Washington's economic blockade.
That commercial, economic and financial siege should be lifted by Washington as soon as possible, taking into account the current process for the restoration of relations between both countries, Obiang Nquema said.
