Havana, April 16 (RHC) –- Cuba will host for the first time the International Symposium on Trade and Service Development, to take place from May 19-22 in Havana.

The forum, being organized by the Cuban Domestic Trade Ministry, will address the unfolding of domestic trade amidst ongoing economic changes and will include round-tables, discussion panels, key-note lectures by representatives of local and international participants.

Some of the topics on the forum´s agenda include logistics, design and management of warehouses, non-state service modalities in Cuba, cooperatives in the non-agriculture sector.

Participants come from local and regional universities, scientific institutions, good manufacturing and service companies and private initiative entities.

Observers say that the forum, to take place at Havana's International Convention Center, will allow the exchange of expertise and the debate of ideas related to the sustainable development of wholesale and retail market operations.
