Moscow, April 24 (RHC) – Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev received on Friday in Moscow the Cuban Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, who is in the country for talks in increased economic cooperation.
Speaking to Caribrisas and his accompanying delegation, Medvedev expressed his desire to take advantage of this meeting to send an affectionate greeting to Cuban President Raul Castro, and to the leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro, whom he had met in 2008 and 2013.
Medveded also considered as very successful the recently concluded Intergovernmental Commission for Economic and Trade Cooperation, held in Kazan, this week, and which culminated in the signing of ten documents, including several bilateral agreements.
For his part, Carbrisas reiterated his satisfaction with the visit, carried out in the context of the Intergovernmental Commission regular session. Carbrisas had met earlier in the week with Russian Foreign Minister, Seguei Lavrov and Senate President, Valentina Matvienko.
