Havana, May 20, (RHC), - Cuban President Raul Castro on Tuesday officially met with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, who is paying an official visit to Cuba.
During the meeting, the two heads of state addressed the positive development of bilateral relations between their countries and the potential to improve ties in areas of mutual interest, Granma newspaper reported.
Raul and Tomislav also exchanged views on international issues.
The Serbian president was accompanied by health minister Zlatibor Loncar; Serbian ambassador in Havana, Marina Perovic, and president advisor Ivan Mrkic.
On the Cuban side was foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez, as well as acting health minister Jose Portal and the Cuban ambassador to Serbia, Mayra Ruiz.
