Damascus, May 25 (RHC) -– The Under Secretary General of Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party, Hilal al-Hilal, arrives in Cuba on Monday to reaffirm bilateral relations between Damascus and Havana.
The high-level Syrian official will be accompanied by the Baath Party's Regional Command member Abdel Nasser al Chaifa, who is also president of the Syria-Cuba Friendship Association, as well as by
former Information Minister Mohsen Bilal.
The Syrian delegation will meet with Cuban officials and visit the provinces of Havana, Villa Clara and Cienfuegos. Shortly before departing for Havana, Al Hilal told Prensa Latina news agency in Damascus that he is carrier of a message of friendship and solidarity to the Cuban people.
