Madrid, May 28 (RHC)-- The speaker of the Spanish Congress Jesus Posada is planning to pay a visit to Cuba in early September.
According to the Spanish agency EFE, Posada confirmed his trip on Thursday describing it as “timely and convenient” in the current times of opening in Cuba, since his visit would enhance bilateral relations between Madrid and Havana.
Posada met at the Spanish Congress with Cuban ambassador to Madrid Eugenio Martinez to address different issues and his visit heading a parliamentary delegation to Havana.
The visit will take place at the invitation of the president of the Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo.
