Havana, June 19 (RHC) -- The five Cuban anti-terrorism fighters known as The Five will begin a visit to three African countries next week, a member of the group has announced.

The five people are scheduled to visit South Africa, Namibia and Angola from June 21st to July 8th, Fernando Gonzalez told reporters in Havana.

Gonzalez, who is also vice president of Cuba's Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, ICAP, said they were invited by the African National Congress, South Africa's ruling party, and some regional organizations.

During the visit, he said, they will meet with Cuban aid workers, local groups and celebrities in the three African nations.
