Havana, June 24 (RHC) –- The European Union and Cuba will hold on Thursday in Brussels their first high level meeting to discuss the issue of human rights.
The dialogue will be chaired by the EU's Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, and Cuba's General Director for Multilateral Affairs and International Law, Pedro Nuñez Mosquera.
The dialogue comes amid ongoing efforts by Havana and Brussels to relaunch their relations and sign a new accord for political dialogue by the end of this year.
