Cuban Five in South Africa: Agenda Ends at University of Limpopo

Limpopo, June 29 (RHC-PL) -- A meeting at the University of Limpopo, located in northern South Africa, was the last activity on the Cuban Five's agenda in the African nation, where they arrived June 21st for a friendly visit.

The Cuban Five talked to a packed theater of students and workers of the higher education center. Earlier on Sunday, the five Cuban anti-terrorism fighters met with Cuban collaborators working in South Africa, including doctors and other specialists.

During their visit, Gerardo, Ramon, Antonio, Fernando and Rene were also received by South African President Jacob Zuma and the top leadership of the African National Congress (ANC).

After their visit to South Africa, the Cuban Five will travel to Namibia and Angola with similar agendas.
