New Group in Miami Favors Cultural Exchange with Cuba

Washington, July 6, (RHC), – A Miami-based Club of Ibero-American Artists and Intellectuals plans to coordinate projects to strengthen relations with Cuban artists and creators and to encourage cultural Exchange.

The organization will link with the Cuban Writers and Artists Association (UNEAC) and with other similar entities in Spain, Latin America and the World, that promote arts and culture to increase the quality of life, according to a statement by the Miami organization.

The new group aims at receiving and promoting the visits of Cuban artists that live on the island and in other countries.

Created on July 4, the organization is made up of women and men of Latino descent residing in the U.S., who advocate respect for the sovereignty of the nations and a better relationship between Washington and Latin America.
