Havana, July 9 (RHC)-– The assessment of control and supervision activities at state entities, as well as the concerns and suggestions of the people are high on the agenda of the Cuban Parliament's ten working commissions, which are meeting Saturday through Monday prior to the 5th Ordinary Session of the top legislative body.
The Food and Agriculture Commission will consider the development of new management modalities and new policies for produce sale and the ranching industry.
Other parliamentary groups will debate gender equality, academic results in elementary, secondary and technical education and cultural policies.
The commissions' agenda also addresses issues related to national security, including the performance of mandatory military service and other issues pertaining to sanitation and health care policies.
