Havana, July 11, (RHC), – On this July 11, Cuba is celebrating the World Population Day with a diverse program of cultural and academic activities.
Among them, two panels on the situation worldwide of women and girls will be held at the Cuban seat of the United Nations Population Fund, that organization said in a statement.
Other events in Cuba, will deal with the societal and demographic development in the Caribbean island, and challenges posed by phenomena such as population aging.
