Santiago de Cuba, July 15 (RHC) --- The Minister of Financial Services of the Bahamas, Hope Strachan, is in Cuba heading a delegation from her country to participate in the Cuba-Caribbean Business Forum, to be held from July 15th to the 17th at the Heredia Theater in Santiago de Cuba.

The official, who is also a member of the Bahamian Parliament, is in Cuba by invitation from the Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca. Hope Strachan will stay in Cuba until Sunday, the 19th, and will develop a program of activities that includes a bilateral meeting with her host.

The Cuba-Caribbean Business Forum was attended by delegates from 10 countries and cooperation agreements between the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Bahamas and Grenada will be signed during the gathering.
