Panama City, July 22 (RHC)-- A statement from the Foreign Ministry of Panama reports that President Juan Carlos Varela said the restoration of relations between Cuba and the United States will strengthen continental unity. In the document, released in Panama City, the Government of Panama congratulated the governments and peoples of Cuba and the United States "for the reopening of the Cuban embassy in Washington, a firm step in the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries."
